Registration can be done online

or by sending in a completed paper form. The form can be downloaded from here

Copies of the form and a filled in example will be available in the shop.

Registration takes up to 10 days. Once you have an email confirmation of the registration from the APHA, forward this to the Committee (whitehill.allotment.society.uk@gmail.com) as proof of registration.

General points about keeping chickens

Members can keep chickens, but not cockerels. You must get written permission from the Committee before keeping chickens. From October you must also register your chickens and send proof of registration to the Committee. More information on registration is given above. The chickens must be properly looked after, so that they are happy and healthy and they must not cause any nuisance to neighbouring plot holders or to the occupants of neighbouring houses.
